Paul Zerdin - The Human Dummy

Found this video which is hilarious! This guy who had to be the human dummy was a real sport and played along very well!

Oh, and apparently he uses the same dialogue, but this human dummy he got was cool enough to dance ;)

YA Books of 2010 That I Need to Read

I haven't been a good reader this year and I've missed out on a lot of books. However, since book bloggers are posting up their favorite reads of the year, I guess I can just pick and choose the best from their lists :)

Bloggers Heart Books has a great list of their Top 24 Favorite Books of 2010.
And from there, I guess I've compiled my books wish list :)
Here's what I would love to read, (sort of in order):

Hex Hall by Lady/Rachel Hawkins
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting

The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
You Wish by Mandy Hubbard
Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers
Stolen by Lucy Christopher

Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn
Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma
Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
The Eternal Ones by Kirsten Miller
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Inside My Head by Jim Carrington
Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly

Salvaged by Stefne Miller
Shade by Jeri Smith Ready
The Beautiful Between by Alyssa B. Sheinmel
Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers

Sea by Heidi Kling

Twists and Braids

The normal French Braid is nice but quite boring when that is all you know. A girl must always update her braiding skills and I found these new looks which I would love to try -
Two Strand Braid
Water Fall Braid which goes into a Double Braidish Look

Petite Wear

I'm a petite girl and have to rely on good tailors to make sure my clothes fit me nicely. It's hard to find clothes off the rack that fit well. Some stores do have Junior's sizes and I will usually head there, but the main pet peeve would be if it looked too childish.

Anyway, I stumbled upon the lovely world of fashionable petite bloggers! I love that they're sharing their petite clothes and now I have some ideas on where to go to update my wardrobe :)

If you're petite and haven't read these blogs, you should:
Really Petite
Alterations Needed
Extra Petite

Have only explored these, but will find time to blog hop on these other Petite Fashion Blogs.

OneManSho

My previous post was about a video done backwards.

However, this guy is amazing! He actually sings backwards! That's a lot of work but really cool!
Do check out his other singing backwards songs and guess what he's singing!

Shorewood Lip Dub

I remember watching this video almost about a year ago and thought, "WOW!"
It was natural that I was secretly wishing my high school did something cool like this that I could've been a part of :)

It was a single take, lip dub of a song done backwards!
The sheer amount of teamwork it involved is pretty awesome.
And here's a video of how they filmed it. Neat!

Maxime Luère

Has anyone seen the video "A Life On Facebook" by Maxime Luère on youtube?
It's a great video that was removed due to copyright infringement from ABKCO, the independent record label who owns the rights to the song used: Rolling Stones - Paint it Black.

If you missed it, you can probably try to search for some on youtube. Here's one that's still on (at time of posting):

Hunger Games

I absolutely love Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy and can't wait for the movie to come out!
Found this cool youtube video from reading the blogs of book bloggers.
All Hunger Games fans must watch this!
